MESSAGE FROM RECTOR

"Wings of Wisdom"

Fr. Bhushan Paul Xalxo

Rector

Dear Students, Staff and Parents,

I was reading a book written by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Wings of Fire, and was deeply moved by his journey from humble beginnings to becoming a visionary leader. His story is a testament to how education, values, and perseverance can shape destiny. As Kalam said, “Dreams are not what you see in sleep, dreams are those that do not let you sleep.” This spirit resonates with our school’s ethos.
Education is not just about acquiring knowledge; it is about discovering the strength within to rise above limitations. At our school, we believe that true wisdom gives wings to our students—wings that help them soar high, not just in academics but in life itself.
“Wings of Wisdom” for me is more than a theme; it is a mission. It symbolizes growth, vision, values, and the courage to fly beyond boundaries. Wisdom teaches a child to distinguish right from wrong, to be compassionate, responsible, and truthful in an ever-changing world.

As Rector, I witness how our students are nurtured through discipline, hard work, and creativity. Teachers, parents, and the entire school community together shape young minds into wise individuals who can lead with empathy and excellence.

Let us remember: a bird is not only made to fly but to navigate the winds. Similarly, wisdom enables our students to face challenges with strength and grace. May every learner in our care discover their wings firm, purposeful, and guided by values.

Let us continue to educate not just the mind, but the heart. And in doing so, may we truly give our children the Wings of Wisdom.

As John Dewey once said, “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” And William Butler Yeats beautifully reminded us, “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” These words inspire us to ignite passion, curiosity, and resilience in every child. Let us build not just scholars, but thoughtful, courageous citizens of tomorrow.

Wishing each of you God's Blessings

Regards,
Fr. Bhushan Paul Xalxo,
